More Than a Brand

The Great Lakes hold roughly 20% of the world’s surface fresh water. They are not an endless resource, and they are not just a backdrop for weekends. They are a shared responsibility.

That belief is at the center of Unsalted Seas.

Our designs are made to start conversations about the waters we love, especially the growing threat of microplastics. These tiny pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our lakes, rivers, beaches, wildlife, and communities—often without being seen.

We believe regional pride should mean showing up for the region.

The Unsalted Movement

Unsalted Seas supports nonprofits working to protect freshwater ecosystems and reduce plastic pollution in and around the Great Lakes.

Through product releases, community campaigns, educational content, beach cleanup events, and donating 20% of net profits to water non-profits doing the necessary work: protecting shorelines, advocating for cleaner water, restoring habitats, and helping move communities toward a future with less plastic pollution.
